"And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth; we have beheld his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father."
"Peace in the Midst of Storm" by His Grace, Most Reverend Thomas Collins Archbishop of Toronto"
Easy enough for God to say! "Don't worry, Peter. There is no reason to be terrified." Even seasoned
veterans know the smell of fear when they launch into perfect storm. And who can blame them? Storm has been seen with casualties. Somebody has to die! Then again, storms are the scary. There are battles against cancer, for example, every bit as hard fought and frightening as armed conflict, battles within families, within the workplace, and even within the church. Not all are terrifying, but all of them are discouraging. So, His grace, Archbishop Thomas Collins encourages us on how to claim God's promises under the midst of whatever problems we happen to be facing this very day, he is there with us. Indeed, Peter and the disciples have indisputable proof that God provided a miracle to safeguard his chosen people.
There are many things which can create these storms which come into our lives! The death of a loved one, financial disasters, divorce... when the one you thought you could depend on walks out on you, and many other things which can destroy your happiness and your well being! He is our Blessed Assurance! Put your trust in Him my friend! He is with you and He will bring you through your storm! O Hallelujah!

"Put Your Eyes On Me" by The Most Reverend Sam G. Jacobs, Bishop of Houma-Thibodaux, USA"
To live by faith is a far surer and better-off thing than to live by feelings or by works. The branch, by
living in the vine, lives a happier live than it would live by itself, even if were possible for it to live at all apart from the stem. To live by putting our eyes to Jesus by clinging all from Him, is a lovable and sacred thing. If even the most just want live in this style, how much more must I who am a poor sinner! Lord, I believe. I must trust Thee with all my body, heart, and soul. What else can we do? The Most Rev. Sam G. Jacobs, Bishop of Houma-Thibodaux, USA encourages us to focus on the giver and will abide by this even to the end.

"Bloom Where You Are Planted" and " Unity strong in Diversity" by Deacon Carlos Nogueira, Archbishop's Liaison to the Charismatic Renewal in the Archdiocese of Toronto
Have you ever thought long and hard about what it means to follow God's call? Right up front there
are challenging questions to ponder. God has given every believer extraordinary gifts. Some are great leaders and coordinator, while others are talented musical group, helpers, even floor cleaners! When those in the body of Christ use their gifts to provide services to each other, the community becomes a dominant power for good, a strong witness for Jesus, and a mighty defense force to combat Satan's attacks against the people in their community. The community needs you! The body of Christ is not complete unless you are working within it

"Effective Christian Service" by Bro. Don Quilao, Chairman, Catholic Charismatic Renewal Council
In Isaiah 61:6 "but you shall be called the priests of the LORD, men shall speak of you as the ministers of our God; you shall eat the wealth of the nations, and in their riches you shall glory." This promise to Israel belongs spirituality to the starting point after the Spirit, name, to all believers. If we live up to our rights, we shall live unto God so visibly and clearly, that men shall see that we are set apart for holy service and shall name us the priest of the Lord.
We may work, or trade, as others do, and yet we may be solely and entirely the ministering servants of God. Our one profession shall be to present the continuous sacrifice of prayer, worship and praise, and testimony and self-dedication to the living God by Jesus Christ.
This being our one aim, we may leave disturbing concerns to those who have no higher vocation. "Let the dead bury their dead." It is written, "Strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers." They may manage politics, puzzle out financial problems, and settle the last new quibbles of condemnation; but we will give ourselves unto such service as becomes those who, like the Lord Jesus, are ordained to a perpetual priesthood.let us put on the vestments of holiness, and minister before the Lord all day long.
